The Bear River High School Theatrical Dance Program offers comprehensive dance education across a variety of genres and styles, serving both our students and the greater community. Our program has earned a strong reputation for excellence in Nevada County.

Our dancers thrive when they can learn directly from working professionals, and we bring in skilled choreographers and dancers each year to expand their training and artistic exposure. Although these professionals offer affordable rates, providing these opportunities still carries significant cost—and many students would not be able to access this level of training without additional support. Because the district provides only minimal funding, community sponsorships play a crucial role in sustaining our program.

We are also excited to share that we are currently in the process of building a brand-new dance room for our students to accommodate for our growing program. This space will significantly enhance the quality of their training and the overall growth of our program. Importantly, this new facility will be fully funded by the program itself, not the district—meaning community support is absolutely essential to bringing this project to life. Your sponsorship directly contributes to creating a safe, professional, and inspiring space for our dancers.

I invite you to consider becoming a community sponsor for the 2025–2026 school year. Our program is nonprofit and supported primarily through ticket sales and donations. Sponsorships are tax-deductible, and both families and businesses are welcome to participate—families may recognize a performer, and businesses may advertise their services or products.
